Best practices

The best practices are classified per category. New projects are continually added to the list.

  • Prevention
The various prevention projects aim to reduce the number of people with (severe) burns. In this category you will find prevention campaigns and events, aimed at discouraging risky behaviour and promoting safe behaviour.

  • Care
All described care projects aim to improve the care for burn patients.

  • Quality of Life
The shame that people with burns often feel can lead to social problems or even worse, social isolation. The aim of these projects is to have a positive effect on the self-esteem, self-worth, self-confidence and personal performance of people with burns.
